2023 Voices For Justice Volunteer Subcommittee

NCVLI Volunteer Subcommittee Application

Important: All required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

Voices for Justice (VFJ) brings together survivors, victims’ rights attorneys, advocates, allied professionals, and community members to celebrate the achievements of the year, honor those support survivors, and raise funds necessary to continue the work of protecting, enforcing and advancing victims’ voices and rights.  The next VFJ is scheduled to be a hybrid event that takes place March 8, 2024 with the in-person elements happening in Portland, Oregon.  Beginning in November 2023, the Subcommittee will be actively working toward the event.  Following the event, the Subcommittee will spend time analyzing the event and strategizing for the future.  Because NCVLI’s work is national, volunteers for this Subcommittee can be located anywhere in the United States. The Event Subcommittee’s focus is the planning, marketing, and execution of the event.

Being a part of this Subcommittee allows those interested in NCVLI and its mission to play a significant role in advancing NCVLI’s mission while working alongside Board and staff. The Subcommittee is expected to consist of 10 people, including four members of NCVLI’s Board of Directors who hail from across the country and represent a variety of professions.  The Subcommittee generally meets monthly for 30 minute meetings with independent or partner work in between.  While anyone interested in supporting victims’ voices and learning more about the workings of a nonprofit is welcome to apply, those with experience or passion for event planning, marketing, graphic design, auction coordination, donor cultivation, and/or program development are particularly encouraged to apply!

NCVLI only accepts volunteers over 18 years of age. Please affirm you are over 18.*
