Spotlight: Intern: Tegan Waring
Tegan Waring
Intern
Tegan Waring is one of NCVLI’s Summer Interns and will start her junior year at Smith College this fall.
Tegan Waring just completed her sophomore year at Smith College in Massachusetts studying women’s studies and public policy. She is interested in pursuing a career in public policy and law with a focus on sex crimes, gender violence, and the criminal justice system. This passion began early. In high school she first became a volunteer at Oregon’s Sexual Assault Resource Center with a focus on their Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children unit. She is currently a volunteer at a domestic violence shelter in Northampton, Massachusetts and a committee member on the Smith Student Advisory Board, focusing on community service and justice involvement. We are excited to have Tegan on the NCVLI team this summer where she will be working on QuickTools and other victims’ rights educational videos.
