Spotlight: Intern: Bridgett Shephard

Bridgett Shephard
Intern
Bridgett Shephard is a second year law student at Lewis & Clark Law School who served as one of NCVLI’s Summer 2012 Law Student Interns.
Bridgett had this to say about her time spent at NCVLI:
Learning about victims’ rights law was incredibly engaging. It was amazing to be immersed in a field that is relatively new and actively developing. I truly felt that the work I did was important and useful to individual victims, NCVLI as an organization, and victims’ rights law as a whole. Working closely withe NCVLI attorneys, I greatly improved my legal reasoning abilities and fine-tuned my research and writing skills. I know that my experience at NCVLI has made me a better-informed law student, and I am confident that the experience will make me a more well-rounded attorney.
