Sarah LeClair, JD

Legal Publications Director

Sarah LeClair serves as NCVLI’s Legal Publications Director and is a member of NCVLI’s legal team.  In her role as Legal Publications Director, Sarah manages the content, look and distribution of NCVLI’s legal publications covering a wide array of victim law topics.  As a member of the legal team, she participates in the continued development and implementation of NCVLI’s national litigation and education strategies, including providing legal technical support to attorneys and advocates through legal research, writing and strategic consultation, and planning and facilitating in-person and online trainings.  Before joining NCVLI, Sarah served as judicial clerk for the Honorable Rick Haselton of the Court of Appeals of the State of Oregon, after which she practiced law as a litigation associate at Miller Nash LLP in Portland, Oregon. During law school Sarah interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia and with the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Appellate Section. She has a BA in History from the University of Oregon and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. Sarah joined NCVLI in January 2009.
