Strengthening Post-Conviction Victim Support: Tools for Attorneys & Advocates in New Jersey

Please join us for this unique opportunity to strengthen your skills to provide impactful and trauma-informed support and services to victims navigating post-conviction case activity.  This training will equip you with critical information about conviction and sentence review units and cases in New Jersey, along with practical tools to understand the unique needs of victims and survivors during the conviction and sentence review process.  You will learn how to deliver effective support, address common challenges, and foster collaboration for holistic victim services in your community.  

An ideal training for both system-based and community-based attorneys and advocates, with one breakout session for attorneys and other legal professionals and another breakout session for victim advocates.

This no-cost virtual training is being offered by Healing Justice, the National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI) and the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA), with support from the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). 

CLE/NACP Accreditation:  The New Jersey Board on Continuing Legal Education has approved this training for up to 3.2 hours of general CLE credit.  This training may also offer National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP) credits to participants.
