Online Training: Creating a Record for Appellate Review

An important component of crime victims’ rights enforcement in criminal cases may include the appellate review process. It is critical for victims’ rights attorneys to know how to create a record and preserve an issue for appellate review. This training will address the scope of appellate review, identify select, key steps to creating a record sufficient for appellate review, and share examples of potential pitfalls to avoid on the road to seeking appellate review of victims’ rights issues.
